As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our facility by performing in-house repairs and maintenance on a variety of machining equipment. Your deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems will be essential in diagnosing issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and addressing any challenges that arise. We are seeking a professional with a proactive approach to all aspects of maintenance, particularly in ensuring the reliability of our electrical and mechanical systems.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery, focusing on ensuring the seamless operation of both mechanical and electrical systems.Conduct thorough preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure building operates at peak efficiency.Collaborate closely with production teams to identify potential system vulnerabilities and develop proactive solutions to prevent equipment failures.Undertake in-house repairs across a wide range of machinery, with attention to both electrical and mechanical details.Skillfully read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status, ensuring comprehensive documentation.Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.Required Skills & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., Journeyman Mechanic, Electrical Certification) are a plus.Extensive experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems.At least 3 years of experience working with building maintenance.Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of system issues, including complex control systems.Proactive and fearless approach to maintenance tasks, with a problem-solving mindset that emphasizes preventive care and quick resolution of issues.Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a workplace.Compensation:$30.00/hr to $35.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
