Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp-hire Administrative Assistant for our client located in Scotch Plains. Looking for a motivated individual to join a fast growing and friendly company that specializes in Line Striping and Signage.Responsibilities:Accounts Payable: Organize job tickets, job costing and entering bills into QuickBooks.Estimating: Order, scan & copy plans and specs; prepare bid spreadsheets and bid packages; gather subcontractor/supplier quotesProject Management Assistance/EEO Compliance: Order material as directed; respond to requests of project owner officials and subcontractors/suppliers as requested by project managers; and prepare and organize monthly EEO reports.General Office Assistance: Order supplies; sort mail; run errands; general correspondence, reception, and other admin functions as neededContribute positively to the customer service experience for project owners, vendors, and subcontractorsRequirements:Prior experience working in a construction office. Filing, Phone, Accounts Receivable / Payable, payrollPreparing Bid Documents, AA/EEO Compliance, Prevailing Wage reportingComputer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks,Dependable, organized, support-minded individual with attention to detail, team player attitude, able to meet deadlines and can multi-task.Bilingual helpful (Spanish)Salary $23.00-$25.00 a hourFull Time Position 9-5, M-FBenefits - Health Ins. 401K, Vacation, Holidays, Sick Pay one hired permanentlyFor immediate consideration please apply online at:
