Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment used in capsule manufacturing and facility/building systems. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform essential duties effectively. Experience in a GMP regulated environment, particularly within the pharmaceutical/solid dosage industry, is highly desired.Qualifications:High school diploma or technical school equivalent required. Strong math and reading skills are essential.3-5 years of experience as a Mechanic in a pharmaceutical/solid dosage environment preferred.Experience with manufacturing equipment maintenance is a must.Facility maintenance experience, including HVAC, dehumidification, and cooling systems, is a plus.Strong technical abilities and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.Basic three-phase electrical knowledge, good mechanical skills, and basic machine shop/welding skills are required.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors as needed.Must be available for overtime and weekend work.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment.Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement corrective actions.Test equipment after maintenance to ensure proper operation.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.Advise supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.Maintain facility systems, including dehumidification, cooling, and HVAC systems.Perform general facility maintenance as needed.Work effectively in a GMP regulated environment.
