This individual will be responsible for managing the activities of construction projects. They will be working to ensure construction schedules, onsite safety, development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, reviewing and maintaining quality standards, and upkeeping customer satisfaction. In this particular role, the candidate will split time between the Charleston office and in the field, doing walk throughs of homes throughout different phases of construction. Day-to-Day:Supervise and schedule daily activities of trade partners, assessing the quality and efficiency of their work. Ensure timely completion within the defined scope of work and compliance with local, state, and federal building codes. Authorize payments when standards are met.Review and request changes to construction drawings when errors or conflicts are identified.Assess project schedules and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion, reflecting the project's evolving needs and meeting all contract obligations and safety protocols. Halt any work that does not meet plans, specifications, or applicable codes.Conduct daily inspections to ensure job sites comply with state, federal, and company safety standards, including Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan requirements. Take immediate action to maintain a safe working environment, including adjusting processes or stopping work if necessary.Negotiate, create, and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor as needed.Work with Product Development, Process Improvement, Resource Planning, and Purchasing teams to improve plan quality, schedule adherence, trade performance, and budget management.Maintaining regular communication with customers through the construction process keeping them informed and addressing any concerns through action and negotiation.This position can pay from $75,000-$100,000.
