Feldman Feldman & Associates (FFA) is a 15+ person boutique immigration law firm in San Diego handling all aspects of family and business-based immigration. With an ethical and client centric approach to immigration law, our firm has grown based on referrals from happy clients who appreciate our quality and responsive service.We are seeking an immigration paralegal, for an in-person role at our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of immigration experience, but will train the appropriate candidate, if needed.Compensation: The minimum starting salary for this position is $50,000, with additional compensation offered based on experience and expertise.Benefits:At FFA we ask a lot of our employees, which is why we give so much in return. You will have a large workspace in a thoughtfully designed upscale office with a view looking out over Mission Valley.Dress: Business Casual is fine.Parking: Plentiful free parkingResponsibilities:The paralegal will work with attorneys helping the dreams of foreign nationals come true!Primary responsibilities:Responsible for working with attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration and nationality law matters.Understand the procedures and documentation required for cases to be filed successfullyWork with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely mannerPrepare forms according to information received from clientsPrepare letters and other documents on behalf of the clientData entry into in-house database as per instructionsFinalize documents after review by AttorneyDemonstrate ability to manage a high caseload and work within strict timelinesMonitor the status of all filed applications and petitionsRun reports to assist in managing one's own caseloadKeep abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applicationsThe ideal candidate will have the following qualities:Intelligent,Strong writing skills (including grammar and punctuation),Detail-oriented,Ability to work independently,Strong work ethic,Passionate about helping people,Ability to excel within an extremely high volume environment,Ability to work well with minimal supervision,Ability to catch errors and correct the work of others,Superior client service skills,Ability to prioritize cases, manage caseload and other tasksAbility to meet deadlines and goalsPlease send the following to ffajobs@:ResumeCover LetterWriting SampleReferences
