Preconstruction Manager

An opportunity to work with a top 10 ENR GC in their Orlando Preconstruction team.100% employee owned GC with share scheme and projects averaging $150m.Responsibilities:Analyze project drawings and documents to prepare cost estimates.Perform quantity surveys to determine material needs.Monitor and compare estimated costs to actual costs.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor quotes.Lead meetings with subcontractors to define project scopes.Supervise and train junior estimators.Assist with project risk and contract management.Examine construction sites to identify potential challenges.Review estimates for accuracy and completeness.Research and implement improved estimating methods.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in construction cost estimating.Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On Screen Take-off) and Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational and time management skills.Detail-oriented and accurate.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
