The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of human resources as well as as experience with administrative duties. The right candidate will be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This will be an for extraordinary opportunity to continue to grow professionally in a challenging, but collegial, environment.As an ideal candidate, you will have general knowledge of human resources as well as experience with general administrative duties.ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database, generating reports, archiving documents, and preparing correspondence.Support recruitment efforts through submission & maintenance of online job postings, scheduling job interviews and conducting reference checks for potential hires.Assist in the administration of our performance management program including reporting and communications.Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance, including government reporting.Coordinate and participate in onboarding and training sessions for new employees.Respond to employee requests and inquiries in a timely manner.Help to build and maintain a strong Firm culture by assisting in the planning of and attending volunteer programs and Firm Events.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification, preferred.1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Solid customer service approach with flexibility to adapt to meet employee needs.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.Attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.BenefitsStark & Stark is committed to the health and well-being of its staff members.
