Our client, a leading venture capital firm, is seeking a motivated Office Coordinator / Personal Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to oversee day-to-day office operations and provide a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and multitasking skills who enjoys creating an efficient and professional workplace.Please note that this is an on-site, temp-to-perm role located in Washington, D.C., with an annual salary of $65,000-$70,000.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet visitors and employees, manage incoming calls and emails, and handle mail, packages, and deliveries.Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory to support daily operations.Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with planning team activities and events.Ensure a clean, organized office environment by coordinating with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.Arrange employee travel and reconcile expense reports.Assist with new hire onboarding by coordinating office setup, issuing access badges, and conducting office tours.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining updated documentation.Qualifications1-2 years of experience in a retail or office/administrative support role.Proven experience in office management, front desk, or similar administrative functions.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace; experience with scheduling and office management software is a plus.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while handling multiple priorities.A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.Please submit your resume for consideration!You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.We suggest that you ensure you have updated your LinkedIn profile and that you start collecting your references early.We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
