Member Services & Events Coordinator

This role blends member services, event planning assistance, and administrative support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-client environment.Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid - Some Remote Work Possible)Schedule: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions AvailableCompensation: Based on Experience & Employment Type (part time or full time)Travel: Required (Approx. 7-8 times per year throughout California)Key Responsibilities:Process membership applications and renewalsField member phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional communicationAssist in membership campaigns, including creating and sending emails using platforms like Constant Contact and MailchimpSupport event planning, including managing event registration systems and logisticsProvide onsite event support, assisting with setup, registration, and general coordinationProvide general administrative support, working closely with the Executive Director teamConduct outbound calls to members for engagement and retention initiativesHelp execute strategies to increase membership and enhance member experiencesWork Environment & Benefits:Flexible work arrangement - hybrid setup with some remote work availableGrowth opportunities in membership engagement and event coordinationA collaborative team environment with meaningful member impactRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multi-client environmentStrong communication skills - both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Experience with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, Mailchimp) and/or association management systems is a plusAbility to travel throughout California (7-8 times per year) for eventsProximity to Sacramento or the San Francisco Bay Area is required
