As our receptionist, you will have ownership for all aspects of front office including clerical duties and other administrative tasks as assigned. Our ideal Receptionist is friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.Essential Duties & Core ResponsibilitiesKeep front desk tidy and presentableGreet, welcome guests, and manage visitor log and badgesNotifies personnel of visitors' arrivalsAnswer inquiries about the company and address complaintsAnswer all incoming calls, route calls to specific people, take and relay messagesReceive and distribute parcels and other mailPrepare outgoing mail, securing parcels etc.Check, sort, and forward emails and faxesCreate informative bulletin boards with internal job postings, health news, team contests, birthday celebration announcement, and company eventsWork with Marketing and HR on company initiativesUpdates lobby monitor with visitor information, employee events and Tecan news.Schedule meetings and oversee conference room schedules managed via Microsoft OutlookOrder lunches, set up, and clean-up after meetings for food and beverage-related itemsPerform basic administrative duties including calendar management and travel requests as applicable.Relay online application information to walk-in candidates and facilitate meeting with recruiter when possiblePrepare onboarding and training packages and welcome gifts for New Hire Orientation; assist with new hire employee coordination and logistics management as requested by HR teamMinimum Work & Education Experience Requirements 2 to 5 years of receptionist experienceStrong analytical and problem solving skills.Must be hands on, well-organized, creative, detail-oriented, and strong multi-taskingExcellent communication skills; both verbal and writtenStrong experience in Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook for both email and calendaringHigh School diploma
