SIMPLi partners directly with farmers to source the finest ingredients and make them accessible to consumers nationwide in stores, restaurants, and online.If you're passionate about food, sustainability, and making a difference, then SIMPLi is the place for you!The RoleAs the Director of Sustainability and Innovation, you will lead strategic sustainability initiatives, develop cutting-edge food innovations, and influence industry policies that align with SIMPLi's mission. You'll work across teams to enhance supply chain sustainability, drive regenerative agriculture programs, and establish global partnerships to support a more sustainable food system.What You'll Do· Develop and execute SIMPLi's sustainability strategy to drive positive environmental impact.· Lead product innovation, integrating regenerative and sustainable practices into new product development.· Partner with farmers and suppliers to source ethically produced raw materials.· Implement eco-friendly packaging solutions to minimize environmental impact.· Track and analyze sustainability performance metrics (carbon footprint, water usage, waste reduction).· Secure grant funding for sustainability initiatives and innovative food solutions.· Establish and manage public-private partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and industry leaders.· Advocate for sustainable food policies by engaging with regulatory bodies and global stakeholders.· Represent SIMPLi as a thought leader in sustainability at global conferences and industry events.Who You Are· A visionary leader with a passion for sustainability and food system innovation.· Highly strategic, with a deep understanding of regenerative agriculture and ethical sourcing.· A strong communicator who can influence industry leaders and policymakers.· A data-driven problem solver with experience tracking sustainability metrics.· An experienced project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Qualifications· 7+ years of experience in sustainability, innovation, or supply chain management in the food/agriculture industry.· Deep knowledge of sustainability certifications (Fair Trade, USDA Organic, Regenerative Organic Certification).· Experience developing partnerships and securing grant funding.· Proven ability to drive industry change and influence policy advocacy.· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or Agricultural Science.Why Join Us?· Hybrid-office flexibility · Competitive compensation, unlimited PTO, medical benefits, and 401(k)· Access to awesome and delicious ingredients from around the world! · A collaborative environment filled with passionate, talented and motivated people! · Opportunities to travel the world to visit our farming communities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
