This position is in our North Augusta, SC facility!This position will perform a variety of clerical activities. Various duties include, but are not limited to, record maintenance, data entry and retrieval, document checking and comparison, filing, and assembling and compiling information for the Engineering Department.Responsibilities:Involvement with MOCs (management of change) including revisions and corrections to redline drawing reviews.Research and assemble a variety of engineering data, forms or spreadsheets from existing data, manuals, reports, etc. based upon instructions from the Engineering Manager or engineer.Manage, update, and distribute P&IDs throughout the plant as they are updated.Plan and create reports, equipment folders and associated support documentation for new projects or products.Utilize basic AutoCAD 2D skills, may assist engineering with drafting, evaluation and or completion of existing drafts.Directly support the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments as a representative of the Engineering department.Support mechanical integrity program, thickness readings and documentation.Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements as applicable.Adhere to plant safety requirements and plant policies. Promote a positive safety culture, leading by example.Education and/or experience:High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent.Associates or BS preferredTechnical Skills:Above average written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.Strong organization and time management skills.General knowledge of cGMP.Computer knowledge is required including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Possess positive interpersonal skills with the ability to present oneself with tact and diplomacy.Safety/ Essential Functions:Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders.Must be able to work in an environment where chemical odors may exist at permissible threshold limits of exposure.Must be able to evacuate the plant, reporting to appropriate assigned muster point, in the event of an emergency or drill.Must be able to use equipment within its design limits (weight limit on a ladder, for example).Halocarbon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
