Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates has an immediate opening for a full time licensed veterinary technician. This position is for the experienced professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to the highest quality of patient care. This position requires the animal handling skills and work experience necessary to perform independently and the patience and professional attitude to be part of a high functioning team. This position requires experience in client education, patient history collection, running routine laboratory tests, prepping for surgery, post-op recovery, restraining animals, administering treatments and to perform calmly and professionally at all times. Our practice has a strong client base and has been serving the area for over 45 years. We are proud to focus on client service and providing the absolute best in preventative care, diagnostic treatment, and surgery. We offer the latest in diagnostic medicine and treatment, including digital whole body and dental x-rays, an in house laboratory and a fully equipped surgical suite and dental suite in our newly renovated facility.Job Responsibilities:Assist DVM's and other staff in the following:All aspects of veterinary care (i.e., history, treatment, surgery, pre- and post-operative care and emergency care).Animal restraint. (Limited to dogs and cats)Animal treatmentCustomer servicePaperwork and keeping detailed records of client visits, calls, and surgeries performedWrapping and sterilizing packs and other surgical supplies.Maintaining/Disinfecting and sanitizing/cleaning clinic and equipment routinely.Other duties as needed.Education and Qualifications:Graduated from accredited program in 2 to 4 year school and applied for national technician licenseMust have excellent customer service skills and patience.Must have excellent attendance record.Other InformationThis is a full time position with an average of 35 hours per weekCompetitive pay and full benefits are available, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CE, profit sharing, and a generous amount of paid time offJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8:30-5:30 Monday- FridayNO WEEKENDS
