Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Corporate Paralegal at Leading Global Investment FirmOverviewMajor, Lindsey & Africa is seeking an In-House Corporate ParalegalCompany: A Leading Global Investment Firm.Experience: At least 5+ Years of Experience as a Corporate Paralegal.Location: New York, New YorkResponsibilities Include: Maintain global entity management system, updating corporate information, including various company details, ownership and relationships, officer and director appointments, etc. for domestic and offshore entities.Provide a broad range of paralegal support for domestic and offshore corporate housekeeping, including maintenance of current and historical corporate information, document management, and drafting and reviewing corporate documents, including entity formation and organizational documents, resolutions, certificates and other company secretarial documents.Ensure corporate entities remain compliant with state and federal regulations by managing annual reports and renewals.Assist with various counterparty know-your-customer (KYC) due diligence requests.Assist with various domestic and offshore regulatory filings.Work closely with other members of the legal teamCoordinate with external counsel as needed.Participate in special projects, as needed.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (and/or Paralegal Certificate) 5+ years of experience as a Corporate ParalegalProficiency with a global entity management system (Diligent Entities, CSC Navigator, etc.)Experience with corporate secretarial, governance, and transactional matters, especially with entity formations, qualifications, and dissolutions.Strong communication (oral and written), project management, and organizational skills. Strong collaborator and team player with demonstrated success in building relationships across the organizationSuperior research, analytical, and organizational skillsResourceful and confident self-starter who takes ownership of projects Extreme attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proficiently as part of a collaborative team.
