We provide a structured yet welcoming space for men to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally while fostering leadership in their homes, churches, and communities.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the operational and logistical needs of our ministry. This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination of our Bible study programs, church launches, large events, fitness initiative, and broader ministry efforts. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic accounting, possesses strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and is aligned with the Christian values at the core of Heart of a Man.Key ResponsibilitiesBible Study & Ministry Administration· Organize and manage participant registrations, ensuring well-documented and communicated group assignments for Bible study sessions.· Maintain consistent and clear communication with men joining the program, answering inquiries and providing guidance around registration, group changes, and event logistics.· Serve as a primary liaison between new members and group leaders, ensuring leaders are promptly notified of new participants and other vital information.· Oversee scheduling, logistics, and communication for all HOAM Bible study classes.Communication & Engagement· Act as the primary point of contact for administrative coordination with churches partnering with HOAM's ministry ecosystem.· Draft and send weekly email updates to the HOAM community regarding upcoming events, classes, and announcements.· Assist in crafting lecture slides for weekly Bible study sessions.Financial & Website Administration· Learn and manage basic accounting tasks, including communication with HOAM's contracted accounting firm.· Process invoices and track payments related to ministry operations.· Regularly update and manage key components of the HOAM website, ensuring accurate and timely information.· Aggregate and organize data for the annual end-of-year report, supporting leadership in compiling key ministry metrics and narratives.Fitness Program Administration· Oversee registration and administrative communication for the HOAM fitness program.· Ensure timely and effective communication with participants regarding scheduling, updates, and program expectations.Qualifications & SkillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data management, reporting, organization).Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing weekly presentation materials.Basic accounting skills (or willingness to learn) to support financial coordination.Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and professional correspondence.· Experience in website management (or willingness to learn) for regular updates.· Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with leadership and ministry teams.· A deep understanding and personal alignment with Christian faith and valuesAdditional Requirements· Must be available Tuesday evenings for 6 specific weeks per year to support HOAM Bible Study programming as we on-board and sign up new participants for each season.· Must be comfortable working in a faith-based environment, where Christian discipleship and ministry are central to the role.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $25/hourFlexible part-time schedule with opportunities for personal and professional growth within a thriving Christian ministry.Work Remote: Flexibility to work remotely or within the HOAM Headquarters in Carmel, IN.Why Join Heart of a Man?This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing and impactful men's ministry while developing skills in administration, communication, and ministry leadership.
