The Law Offices of Maryam M. Golbarg, P.C. is a tax resolution firm based in Austin, Texas. Our firm represents individuals and businesses throughout the U.S. before the IRS and State Tax Authorities on issues relating to unfiled tax returns, unpaid tax liability, wage garnishments, bank levies, tax liens, audit representation, abatement of penalties and interest, payroll tax issues, notices of deficiency, US Tax Court petitions, etc.As we continue to grow as a firm, it's time to hire a legal administrative assistant to manage our business's administrative tasks. The ideal candidate displays a strong work ethic, a "can-do attitude," is organized, and is self-motivated. Most importantly, we seek a candidate who is eager to grow with the company and finds genuine satisfaction in their work, dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals.Their role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm by providing comprehensive administrative support to our legal staff.Responsibilities/Essential Job FunctionsManage scheduling, including arranging appointments and meetings;Handle correspondence and communication with members of the Firm and clients via email, phone, etc.;Answer phone calls from prospective clients;Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and letters to be mailed, faxed, emailed, etc.;Draft Engagement Letters & Complete IRS and State forms for review by the Attorneys and EAs.Process payments and manage bookkeeping;Prepare and update marketing materials;Perform general office duties and administrative tasks.QualificationsA two-year degree is preferred - but experience is as important;Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office tools;Excellent organizational and time-management skills;Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal;Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality;Ability to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner;Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment;Flexibility to take on office administrative tasks as they appear;Ability to manage multiple on-going projects at one time and prioritize responsibilities without direct oversight;Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Exhibits consistent, reliable, and predictable in-person attendance during business hours.We Offer:A competitive pay and benefits commensurate with experience;On-Site training;Professional development opportunities - The Tax Administrative Assistant will be able to climb the ladder and manage a team of interns as an Office Manager in the future, if desired and capable;A supportive and collaborative work environment;Remote work opportunities available after training is complete, if desired.Please note we are looking to fill this position ASAP so the interview process (remote) and training (in-person) will take place in the coming days.
