The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.Set up and operate equipment as needed.Conduct first piece inspections, monitor part quality, and make adjustments to uphold quality standards.Complete required documentation accurately.Move materials by operating a forklift or using non-motorized equipment as necessary.Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.Assist other operators as required.Propose process improvement ideas.Execute other duties assigned by the supervisor.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredProficient in using gauges and gauging techniques.Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).Familiarity with Quality Management System requirements.Ability to set up and operate various manufacturing equipment.Capability to meet production and quality benchmarks consistently.Proficiency in required documentation for the operator role.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Basic problem-solving skills to address routine issues.Math skills for blueprint reading, gauging, and SPC.Ability to assist less-experienced team members.Comprehension of the manufacturing process and equipment requirements for basic and repetitive tasks.Ability to provide written communication as needed.Compliance with all company policies and safety guidelines.Preferred Skills & Abilities1-3 years of experience in a similar or related role.Previous experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting.Formal mechanical or technical training.Forklift operation and material-handling experience.Experience operating multiple types of manufacturing equipment.Tools UsedMicrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, wrenches, and other general tools and equipment.Salary & BenefitsSalary - Negotiable depending on experience.EPS offers excellent benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Paid Vacations, and Holidays.
