Maintenance Mechanic

Zachry is in immediate need of Maintenance Mechanics for baseload/maintenance work at Bayer Greenhouse Facility in Marana, AZ We are starting a Lighting Project ASAP in addition to the current project need,the position will consist of maintaining services, installs, repairs, and inspects machinery and equipment such as motors, AHU's, and pumps to keep them in good working order.JOB REQUIREMENTSDetects minor to major problems with machines and equipment including observation and listening to locate trouble areas in mechanical devicesDisassembles, repairs and/or replaced parts to equipmentUsing hoists, cranes, hand tools, power toolsPerforms preventive maintenance IAW manufactures recommendationsPerform tests to ensure machinery is running smoothly and basic diagnostic tests, check performance of machineryClean and lubricate machineryMonitors BAS and responds to alarms accordinglyWill unload, inspect and move equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers and trucksUses chain falls and come a-longs to move equipment / materials into placeBasic housekeeping duties such as hosing floors, removing trash, and swiping floorsFollows direction from supervisorWage based on experienceOther duties as assignedCERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED NoneOTHER POSITION OR SITE REQUIREMENTS•Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools •Organization and time management •Must have good problem-solving abilities •Must have good aptitude and manual dexterity •Good reading comprehension •Ability to work with others - team player including good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors •Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations •Access to job site requires meeting criteria of a criminal background checkZachry is dedicated to providing a safe and drug free work environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
