Job Posting: Senior Legal Assistant (Contract)Location: Des Peres, MOContract PositionSTONE Resource Group is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to support a leading organization in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and resourceful professional with experience in financial services, regulatory compliance, and legal support.Key Responsibilities:Conduct due diligence reviews during the client account opening process.Monitor and surveil transactions, employee activities, and communications for compliance.Analyze regulations, rules, and policy proposals to assess impact.Draft and coordinate regulatory updates and compliance bulletins.Develop and implement a compliance training program.Perform testing of internal processes and controls to ensure compliance.Research and respond to regulatory inquiries and examinations.Assist in resolving investor or client disputes.Participate in compliance risk assessments and evaluate control measures.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree required.Strong understanding of financial services and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.? Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines.? Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills.? Detail-oriented with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly.? Self-motivated and driven to continuously develop expertise.Preferred Skills: ? Experience in compliance, regulatory analysis, or legal support. ? Proficiency in handling confidential data with accuracy. ? Strong background in administrative support and correspondence. ?
