LIQUI MOLY USA is seeking a contract candidate to work with our Operations Team as a Customer Care Specialist. This role is hybrid, and on a contract basis within the Irvine, CAarea. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Care Specialist to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will take responsibility forhelping to grow LIQUI MOLY's dynamic approach to customer service, order processing, and logistics in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in customer service, and a proven track record of success in order processing, and logistics, as well as be an independent contractor.In this position, you will take an active part in the successful growth of our company. You will be responsible for coordinating efforts for our Operations Department with the team, focused on customer service and order processing, and interface regularly with internal and external customers, operations team members, and sales managers and associates.LIQUI MOLY is a leading manufacturer of OE-type high-quality motor oils, additives, and other lubricant products with headquarters located in Ulm, Germany. Since 1957 we have supplied the German marketplace with innovative quality oil and additive products for the automotive, powersports/marine, and industrial markets. In 1992 we began our sales effort in the United States and these past 10 years sales have grown significantly. This opportunity provides a competitive hourly range of $23.00-28.00 hourly D.O.E. Also included are travel expense reimbursement, business iPhone (for the length of the contract), and a laptop computer (for the length of the contract).This position is a hybrid office-based position Responsibilities:· Continually exceeds customer expectations by providing excellent customer service and explores opportunities to improve and streamline job responsibilities.· Collaborate with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales initiatives.· Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer information is up to date.· Process and manage customer orders with precision, ensuring timely fulfillment.· Coordinate shipments, proactively resolving any delays or issues.· Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking logistics performance.· Research and compare shipping rates across multiple platforms.· Secure the most cost-effective and reliable shipping solutions.· Negotiate with carriers and third-party logistics providers for optimal service levels· Utilize strong communication skills to assist clients effectively over the phone and through digital channels.· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.· Identify and support system improvement projects· Performs any other responsibilities as dictated by the operational needs of the organization.Enter all sales orders into the ERP system and communicate order acknowledgements.Motivation and ability to learn about our company's industry and productsResolve discrepancies on purchase orders regarding quantity, Article#, specifications, etc.Providing shipping information and order updates to customers (ASN).Implementation of operational procedures.Issuance of customer credits.Requirements:· Previous work as a contract employee in similar situations· Legally able to work in the USA with no restrictions.· Clear a background check.· Experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, business development, customer support with great analytical skills.Solid background, understanding and knowledge in order entry and fulfillment.Detail oriented with strong organizational, project management & communication skills.Works well with others and helps foster a supportive work environment.Strong time management skills and sense of urgency with the ability to multitask effectively.· A fast learner willing to accept ownership of new, different and unassigned tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Computer literacy in Word, Excel and Email are a must.
