Paralegal

Tollefson, Bradley, Mitchell & Melendi, LLP is an established insurance law firm with offices in Uptown Dallas. We are seeking to add a full-time, experienced paralegal to our team.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Strong litigation experience; 5 or more years' experience with a litigation law firm is requiredProficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & OutlookProficient in trial management software such as Trial Director or Summation• Able to operate office equipment for scanning, faxing, mailing and answering a multi-line telephone system• Excellent typing, writing and verbal communication skillsWork well within a team & independentlyExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize & organize duties Ability to meet critical deadlinesReceive direction well, in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift and move files and/or propertyCertified Paralegal Certificate preferredResponsibilities:Prepare and respond to discovery (interrogatories, requests for document production)Prepare record subpoenas and follow-upSummarize depositions, answers to interrogatories and other documents and recordsPrepare trial notebooks, exhibits and other materials required for trialConduct legal research as neededConduct searches in public records, online records, court databases and social mediaSchedule depositions and mediationsOther duties as assignedOur firm offers paid vacation, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement plan with firm match, firm paid employee health insurance and free parking. Salary commensurate with experience. Send resume and include references and salary requirements. Tollefson Bradley Mitchell & Melendi, LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Candidates must pass a criminal background check.
