Job Title: HR CoordinatorLocation: Pataskala, OH (with some occasional travel to our Frazeysburg facilities)Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmSalary: $55,000-$65,000Job Summary:The HR Coordinator is responsible for interacting with associates across the company while managing daily operational activities to ensure all HR data is maintained accurately and confidentially. Responsibilities include all aspects of Recruiting including but not limited to advertising, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, background checks, new hire orientation, and training. The employee is the first point of contact with employee questions and concerns.Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the followingGreet and assist employees and applicants and respond to requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient mannerHandle the administration and coordination of associate communications, brief management, and employees using verbal and written communicationsParticipate in recruiting events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidatesActively support the staffing and recruiting effort for the facility by creating and posting hourly jobs, reviewing applications, scheduling and participating in interviews, conducting assessments, and coordinating pre-employment screeningConduct new hire orientation and ensure other presenters are aware of the schedule and participantsPrepare and assist with all new employee packages (benefits, new hire paperwork) and ensure that onboarding tasks are completed by the new hire and provide assistance as needed, including background screenings, employment verification, and I-9 process/complianceMonitor employee probationary and annual performance review submissions to include 90-day annual employee feedback interviewsAssist in completing Disability and Unemployment inquiries under the direction and approval of the HR DirectorCommunicate human resource policies and proceduresManage Temporary Agency relationships and programsProcess various HR materials including confidential forms and records such as employment, benefit enrollment, and pay changesPromote positive associate relations by coordinating recognition programs and eventsGather information and prepare reports on various HR topics as neededConfidentially handle all information while maintaining HIPAA compliance2nd or 3rd shift work required monthly to support employee communication needsCommunication bridge from HR policy to production floor implementationPerform typing, e-mailing, filing, faxing, copying, mailing, and answering telephonesPerform other general office duties and assist with special projectsShort-distance travel is requiredPrimary Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.3-5 years of HR Recruiting Experience.Previous human resources/onboarding experience requiredKnowledge of common HR hiring practices, laws and regulationsThe ability to multi-task and prioritize is criticalThis position serves as the ambassador for the company and its unique culture and must be approachable, self-motivated, and highly focused on maintaining positive associate relations,This position will support multiple shifts at two locations and must be able to maintain a flexible schedule.Experience with HRMS and timekeeping systems (ADP experience is helpful).Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality required.Bachelor's degree in business administration/human resources or equivalent experience preferredDetail-oriented and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage confidential informationGood applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Adequate transportation is requiredWorkplace Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.Ergonomic Requirements:Ability to Stand for Long Periods of TimeAbility to Push, Pull, Lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
