Seaman Schepps, a storied New York luxury jewelry brand, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at our Upper East Side Flagship. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in luxury retail, customer service, and handling high end jewelry in a retail environment. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of one of America's historic family-owned companies.Responsibilities• Assist in the day to day operation of Seaman Schepps' Flagship Store.• Ensure the achievement of individual sales and store goals, enhancing and developing the business.• When called upon, provide an exceptional customer service experience and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the products as well as history to a dynamic collective of new and existing clientele, some of which are generational to the brand.• Assist store director in maintaining the flagship's client book.• Participate in a team environment; foster open and constructive communication with team members, always being collaborative and proposing effective solutions.• Contribute to the execution of shared daily operational tasks as per company and management directives.Qualifications• Highly organized detail oriented individual • Bachelor's Degree• 3-5 years of experience working in a luxury retail environment; high end jewelry preferred.• Ability to think strategically, and to be involved in decision making that assures proper business protocols and operational success.• Bold sense of initiative and exceptional people skills• Computer literate: comfortable integrating new store operation applications, and proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows environment.• Strong written and verbal communication, as this individual will need to respond to requests in a timely manner.
