The Choice, Inc is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist for our client, a major professional trade association. This is a long-tern ongoing temporary need.The office is a very beautiful, upscale space in downtown DC. It is within walking distance to all Metro lines.ScheduleTuesday - Thursday. This will be an in person position.Hours8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. with a one-hour lunch and two 15 minutes breaks.Job DutiesGreet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional mannerAnswer and direct phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate staff membersManage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-organizedProvide information and assistance to staff, visitors, and guests, such as directions and information on company, programs, and eventsSupport meeting room reservations, setup, breakdown and other logistics for meetings occurring in the officeMaintain knowledge of general logistics for internal and external meetings, events and programsBuild relationship with building's security officersHandle inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient way, and escalate issues to the Director, Office Services and Facilities when necessaryProvide general administrative assistance to team members across the office, as neededPerform other duties as assignedBackgroundPrevious experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or similar roleHighly professional and punctualExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Teams; aptitude for learning new software systemsAbility to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
