We are committed to sustainability, equality, and giving back to the community.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Jewelry Production Assistant to join our team. In this role you will play an integral part by managing daily vendor interactions, inventory control, and general administrative support for the department. Primary ResponsibilitiesComplete daily vendor visits to pick up and return diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry.Process and verify diamond returns, ensuring correct weight, inscriptions, and paperwork.Conduct weekly diamond inventory to ensure accuracy.Facilitate daily repair processing, including proper packaging and customer notifications.Process materials returns for proper crediting.Prepare and ship returns and repairs to vendors and designers.Answer phones and respond to customer service inquiries professionally.Assist in setting up the sales floor daily.Deliver jewelry to customers as needed.Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service.QualificationsPrevious experience in jewelry production or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentBasic knowledge of jewelry materials, tools, and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamFlexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes1-2 years experience working in a similar support roleExperience with jewelry repair and restoration is a plusPassionate about jewelry Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds as needed.Manual dexterity to handle small items such as jewelry, gemstones, and packaging materials.Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.Visual acuity to inspect fine details of jewelry and gemstones.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Workdays & Hours:Monday - Friday: Core hours 9:30am - 6:00pm.What you'll get at G.St:Hourly Rate: $25-$28 per hourFour Weeks/Year Combined Paid Vacation and Personal DaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance401K with employer contributionsGenerous employee discountsAccess to professional developmentFSA, HSA spending accountCommuter BenefitsGreenwich St. Jewelers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
