Non-exempt position.Position Details/Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Associate Legal Administrator to provide critical support to the firm's Executive Director in managing legal operations and strategic initiatives of a CA-based regional law practice.This is a 40-hour per week, non-exempt position that typically requires 3-4 days per week in-office, based on firm needs, with flexibility to work from home as the role and schedule allow.This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in a future career in legal administration, providing hands-on experience and valuable exposure to law firm management.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced legal professional environment, balancing multiple high-stakes projects with attention to detail and quality. This position requires exceptional prioritization skills, professionalism, and an ability to navigate complex administrative tasks with discretion.General Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong communication and collaborative leadership skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsProject management and analytical skillsAbility to anticipate needs and proactively solve problemsFamiliarity with legal terminology and documentationPosition Responsibilities:Executive Director & Project Management Support:Manage special projects and firm-wide initiatives, coordinating resources, deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are metAssist with planning and executing firm events and business meetingsPrepare meeting materials, including agendas and minutes, and follow-up on action itemsConduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to support strategic decision-makingBusiness & Financial Reporting:Create and maintain financial spreadsheets for reporting and analysisPrepare financial reports to support the Executive Director and firm leadershipAssist with applications for business insurance renewals and selection of employee benefitsHelp maintain annual corporate records, including obtaining required signatures from shareholdersCommunications & Liaison w/ Firm Employees:Facilitate effective communication between the Executive Director, Firm Managing Partner, Office Managing Partners, Partners, Department Heads, and ManagersDraft, edit and distribute high-level correspondence, legal documents, and presentationsAct as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders, skillfully managing expectations among various partiesOperational Support:Develop and maintain efficient systems for tracking and prioritizing tasks across departments and projectsConduct periodic assessments of office needs to ensure optimal functionalityIdentify and resolve conflicts in schedulingStay updated on emerging technologies, including AI and best practices in legal administrationTrack and upload confidential information to SharePoint Intranet SiteSalary/Compensation & BenefitsStarting salary range is up to 110K (DOE/DOQ) plus a comprehensive & robust health benefits package, 401K, generous PTO, hybrid work model based on weekly/monthly work demands, paid parking onsite, and many other notable employee perks, etc.If interested in this Associate Legal Administrator role situated in El Segundo, CA (90245), and you meet the above qualifications/requirements, please contact the following D3 rep.:Don Moser | D3 Search??don@ | ?? 213-785-2485??
