Position OverviewAdams & Martin Group has partnered with a prominent law firm to find an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their team in California. This role requires a dedicated professional who is skilled in handling complex litigation tasks and supporting attorneys with exceptional administrative capabilities.ResponsibilitiesPreparing, editing, and finalizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.Maintaining and organizing case files and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, and court hearings.Handling correspondence and communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.Filing documents with state and federal courts and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures.Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and providing support during trials.Managing attorney calendars and coordinating travel arrangements as needed.Conducting legal research and gathering necessary case-related information.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; additional legal secretarial training is preferred.3+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary in a law firm setting.Proficiency in legal terminology and procedures.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Required Work HoursMonday to Friday, standard business hours.BenefitsThe position offers a competitive salary along with benefits that include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Additional DetailsSalary range for this position is $78,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
