Beacon Hill Legal is working with a defense firm to find an Eminent Domain Paralegal. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation, management, and execution of eminent domain cases, working primarily on behalf of property owners. You will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing discovery materials, coordinating case timelines, and maintaining client communication throughout the legal process.Key Responsibilities:Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to eminent domain matters.Assist in case management, including filing, document organization, and maintaining case files.Conduct research on property law, compensation procedures, and case precedents.Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.Communicate with clients, experts, and government entities.Prepare discovery responses, including requests for documents and interrogatories.Monitor case progress and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance.Qualifications:Paralegal certificate or degree, with at least 3 years of experience in eminent domain, real estate, or property law.Strong knowledge of state and federal eminent domain laws.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.If interested in this opportunity, please submit your updated resume for consideration.
