Benefits Operations Administrator

We have a Portland client currently looking for skilled individuals with experience in account management and benefits for various positions. As Benefit Operations Professional, you will play a crucial role in managing your designated book of business, collaborating closely with internal service teams, Brokers, and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery that surpasses client expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main point of contact for clients' benefit-related service requirements.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee assigned book of businessProvide advisory support to clientsAssign tasks to internal service team membersIndependently handle the renewal processAddress daily client issuesConduct needs analysis and strategy discussionsLead enrollment meetings when necessaryHold face-to-face meetings with clientsOffer guidance on cost reduction and competitive benefit optionsIdentify cross-sale opportunities to expand the business portfolioCultivate client relationships through proactive communicationEducate clients on industry trends, concerns, and changesEfficiently manage complex accounts and high-level service deliverablesDemonstrate leadership within the extended service teamRequirements:Self-motivated and disciplinedStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesUnderstanding of payroll fundamentals and benefits / payroll deductions is a mustExcellent organizational and detail-oriented skillsDemonstrated leadership qualitiesCapable of engaging with clients strategicallyThrives in a dynamic work environmentFlexibility to work additional hours during peak seasonAbility to commute to worksite location for at least 4 days a weekExperience:3+ years of experience in account management or a consultative rolePrevious experience in a broker agency or benefit administration firmProfound knowledge of health and ancillary productsProficiency in Microsoft Office productsBachelor's Degree is preferred but not requiredExperience with database applications is a bonusCompensation is based on skills, education, and experience levels. 28-36 an hour.
