Essential FunctionsDraft real estate loan documents (including closing instructions) and review executed versions to ensure accuracy and compliance with closing proceduresReview formation documents to determine signing authority and prepare signature blocksCoordinate closing, and delivery phases of loans originated or acquired to ensure requirements are satisfied within a specified timeframe while maintaining internal checklists in real-timeBe the point of contact between all parties involved in the funding transactionReview the results of the title search, copies of all easements, encumbrances, and any other related title workRequest and review closing protection letters and place orders for funding shield certificateConfirm title requirements are met and confirm issuance of required title endorsementsRequest, review and approve pro forma or marked up title work prior to closingResponsible to request, review and approve settlement statementsVerify receipt and disbursement of all fees as per commitment terms or investor guidelinesRequest, review and approve property and liability insurance certificatesRequest and analyze current real estate tax informationPrepare and submit wire requests for loan funding along with supporting documentationTrack delivery of loan documents to custodian and follow-up on receipt of recorded documentsPerform duties under moderate to close supervision and actively engage supervisor and/or manager to resolve complex issuesRemain current on funding guidelines and compliance requirementsEffectively communicate status and expectations to internal staff, attorneys, and escrow/titleUtilize time management skills to stay on track with multiple loans at various stages of the funding processCompetencies/SkillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and problem solve in a fast-paced environmentAbility to articulate issues, problem solve and analyze with creative and outside of the box thinkingStrong communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external partners; ability to convey findings in a concise and comprehensive mannerEffective organization and time management skillsCapability to build trusting relationships internally and externally and elicit confidence by demonstrating reliabilityStrong team player with the ability to work effectively in a cooperative and diverse environmentCapacity to analyze processes, support change and think operationally and strategically to achieve business goalsAdvanced use of Microsoft Office SuiteEducation and ExperienceAssociate or bachelor's degree Minimum 2 years of direct experience closing/funding loansWorking knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processesTitle or Escrow experience is a plusAccessibiltyAt Archwest, we will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
