Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Medical Claims Processor in Mason, OHEmployment Type: ContractLocation: Hybrid Mason, OH 45040Schedule: 8am-4:30pmPay rate$18-$21.42/hrResponsibilities:Submit medical claims to insurance carriers through the EHR system and clearing house.Review and adjust rejected claims for resubmission to ensure timely processing.Post claim payments and denials by downloading and reviewing EOBs from insurance carriers.Investigate denied claims, determine eligibility for resubmission, and make necessary corrections.Research open balances using aging reports and resubmit claims within filing limits.Communicate with insurance carriers and use their websites to track claim status and resolve denials.Manage patient billing, including statement distribution, payment posting, and refunds as needed.Support claim collection efforts and serve as the main contact for all medical claims.Requirements:High school diploma required.Minimum 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in medical billing.Strong experience in medical vision claims, coding, and billing.Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and stay organized.Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.Experience with cash application processes is a plus.Preferred qualifications include 5 years of medical billing experience and vision billing expertise.Benefits that Russell Tobin offers:Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
