We are partnering with a prominent real estate company to find a skilled Tenant Account Representative. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in managing tenant accounts and supporting collections, ensuring payments are processed efficiently and tenant inquiries are handled promptly. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a knack for problem-solving and customer service, apply now to take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity!Responsibilities:Monitor tenant accounts for overdue payments, including rent, common area maintenance (CAM), utilities, taxes, and other charges.Contact tenants with overdue balances to negotiate repayment plans and update payment records in AS400 and Outlook.Resolve tenant inquiries related to billing discrepancies and lease terms, ensuring accuracy in calculations.Review and address tenant concerns about common area maintenance, utility bills, and real estate tax charges.Collaborate with leasing agents, property management, and legal teams to resolve past-due accounts and initiate appropriate collection actions.Place accounts in default, coordinate with outside counsel to issue demand letters, and manage bankruptcy claims when necessary.Participate in weekly meetings to update management on the status of defaulted accounts.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in account collections, accounting, or customer service.Associate's degree highly preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.High attention to detail and professionalism in all aspects of the role.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with AS400 is a plus.Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders, including tenants, management, and external parties.Salary Range:$60,500 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.Great benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, vacation time, holiday pay, 401K, pet insurance and more.
