Our client is a leading law firm with offices across the country. They are seeking a LegalAssistant to join their Bankruptcy practice. The position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days per weekat their office in Midtown, Manhattan. Experience in bankruptcy law is mandatoryJob DetailsGeneral secretarial duties such as answering the telephone, taking messages, using office equipment, processing mail, etc. Heavy calendar management Travel Management (booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, itineraries, etc.) Draft complex correspondence and documents Manage emails as permitted by attorney High level of involvement with attorney billing Create marketing materials as needed Anticipate needs of attorneys Participate in firm training opportunities Assist and advise junior peers in handling emergency or urgent calls and assignments Perform other duties as required Skills and Qualifications8+ years' Sr. Legal Secretary experience in a large/mid-size law firm 1-2 years' experience in Bankruptcy practice group experience Strong computer skills (typing 55 wpm, Microsoft Office Suite, docketing software, CRM, etc.) Outstanding customer/client service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information and stressful situations Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and accuracy Knowledge of legal terminology, syntax, formatting, and content Ability to collaborate and work independently Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experienceGainor provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression), age, national origin, immigration status, marital or familial status, citizenship status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, reproductive health decision making, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic or status protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
