Job Title: Electrical CAD TechnicianLocation: Cary, NCJob Type: ContractJob Description:As an Electrical CAD Technician, you will work closely with technical teams including detailers, designers, and engineers to create top-tier design solutions. You will assist in the preparation and revision of engineering drawings for various projects and help ensure that our designs adhere to company and client standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and Revise Drawings: Assist with the creation and revision of electrical plot drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Adhere to Drafting Standards: Ensure all drafting tasks are completed according to company, client, and discipline-specific drafting standards and procedures.Assist in Design and Documentation: Support drafting design efforts and assist in the documentation of project details.Use Drafting Programs: Utilize standard drafting detail programs to assist in design tasks, ensuring high-quality and efficient outputs.Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing drafting detail improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency in design.Problem Solving: Research project concerns and recommend solutions to resolve design challenges effectively.Ad hoc Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers and contribute to the team's success.Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed, in alignment with company policies and standards.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma/GED with coursework in drafting technology, or specialized CAD certification is required.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle design challenges.Software Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Self-Motivated Learner: Eager to learn and grow within the field, with a strong desire to develop your career in CAD design.Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located (no work sponsorship required).What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Medical benefits PTO
