In this role, you will be responsible for air traffic control for field communication (gatekeeper). You will partner with corporate communications to create communication methods and improve tools of communication to ensure easy, complete, and when needed actionable tasks can be assigned to stores. This role will also coordinate the deployment of field training, labor, and process improvements while assisting in developing standard operating procedures and owning the store document repository.How You'll Make a DifferenceAssist with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Visual Method Sheets in partnership with the Process Improvement and Training Teams to ensure all process changes and improvements are documented, accessible, and adopted by field teams.Given the myriad asks for stores, ensure that content can be consumed and acted on. Create and ensure alignment with Store Enablement / Supply Chain / Tech / Field Ops for store execution of processes and change.Plan the deployment of process efficiencies for field-level changes so they can be rolled out effectively. Provides insights and reporting to field leadership.Partner with store training team to ensure training matches to documented SOPs.Work closely with the Labor team to ensure store activities can be accomplished alongside regular business.Work closely with Store Operations, Labor, and OX teams on changes to store processes to ensure store activities are accurately reflected in SOPs.Implementation and support for time and attendance as well as air traffic controller of communications related to system changes for the field.Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.What You'll Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or related fieldMinimum of eight years of relevant/retail experienceLean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferredCertified in the Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) system for development of methods and standardsExpert on all facets of retail store procedures and routines, oil change service experience preferredMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Must be authorized to work in the U.S.We Take Care of the WHOLE YouHealth insurance plans (medical, dental, vision)HSA and flexible spending accounts401(k)Incentive opportunity Life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurancePaid vacation and holidays Employee Assistance ProgramValvoline Instant Oil Change discountsTuition reimbursement Adoption assistance Terms and conditions apply, and benefits may differ depending on position.
