Quality Control Inspector

Hollywood, CAJob Summary:The Quality Inspector conducts mechanical and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers and various gauges in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Conducts Dimensional & Mechanical InspectionsOversees the satisfactory resolution of customer requirements on a variety of complex Quality Assurance issuesPrepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested itemsManages the Internal audits and corrective action follow upsPerforms inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and toolingQualifications: 2 - 5 years of mechanical inspection experienceExperience with receiving, in process, final and/or first article inspectionExperience using precision measurement tools- calipers, micrometers and gaugesExperience working with engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketchesAerospace manufacturing experience highly desired- AS9100Proficient computer skillsAbility to identify and independently resolve a variety of complex Quality Assurance issuesAny CMM operator experience a huge plus
