Men's Merchandiser - Apparel Industry

The Men's Apparel Merchandiser will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales, optimize assortments, and align with brand objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, retailer expectations, and consumer behavior to ensure the right product mix is delivered at the right time.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute merchandising strategies for men's apparel, ensuring alignment with brand and retailer requirements.Conduct market and trend research to identify emerging styles, fabrics, and design elements.Collaborate with the design and production teams to create compelling product assortments that meet customer demand.Manage product lifecycle from concept to completion, including SKU planning, pricing, and inventory management.Work closely with sales teams to support seasonal line reviews and presentations to retail buyers.Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize assortment strategies and maximize revenue.Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.Develop strong relationships with key retail partners to ensure merchandising strategies align with their needs.Monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for product differentiation.Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive sell-through.Qualifications & Experience3+ years of experience in merchandising, product development, or buying within the apparel industry, preferably in men's fashion.Strong understanding of apparel trends, fabrics, and the licensed merchandise market.Experience working with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, or Costco is a plus.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external collaboration.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and merchandising software.Ability to travel as needed for market research, trade shows, and retailer meetings.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with major national retailers.Collaborative and fast-paced work environment.Career growth opportunities in a leading licensed apparel company.Salary Commensurate with ExperienceExperience - 8 years plus
