This role would be in a specialized school catering to students aged 10-21, focusing on social, emotional, and vocational skill development.Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and committed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with various disabilities.Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to provide holistic education.Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.Qualifications:Provisional K-6 certification.Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) certification.Alternatively, Teacher of the Handicapped certification (covering both K-6 and TOSD requirements).Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM.Year-round operation with breaks for standard holidays, winter and spring breaks, and extended summer breaks in June and August.If you are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
