Forgepoint Capital, is a multi-stage venture capital firm investing in transformative companies protecting the digital future.We are hiring an Executive Assistant (EA) to support key members of our investment team based in San Mateo, CA. This role requires high attention to details, excellent communication skills and analytical problem-solving abilities to help manage a fast-paced work environment and growing team. To be successful, the ideal candidate should be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.This full-time position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.Responsibilities• Coordinate and manage the daily calendar of the investment team to ensure efficient flow of activities• Make domestic and international travel arrangements• Prepare detailed monthly expense reports for members of the investment team• Organize and manage office meeting logistics as necessary (e.g., creating agendas, taking notes and action items, ordering/picking up lunch, setting up zoom calls)• Organize and maintain office environment, common areas and supplies• Maintain contact information and update internal databases• Perform various administrative tasks to support investment and portfolio management activities• Support community events and activities at key times during the year• Greet visitors to our officesQualifications• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional level experience• 5 to 10 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• Able to engage with senior executives, investors and entrepreneurs in a professional manner• Ability to work independently• Play an integral role in the office culture and team environment• Detail-oriented, extremely well organized, able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish tasks with conflicting priorities and timelines• Adapts well to changing priorities• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and office management technologies• Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, and be proactive• High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, partners, and investorsStart date: ImmediateForgePoint Capital is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building and maintaining a culturally diverse workplace that is free of discrimination and harassment of any kind.We encourage women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in California.
