Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards by developing and implementing quality assurance processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and your efforts will directly contribute to the overall success of our products.Job ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Processes: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues and perform root cause analysis to determine underlying problems and develop corrective and preventive actions.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including test plans, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.Training: Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance practices, tools, and methodologies.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of processes, products, and systems, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.Customer Liaison: Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide technical support as needed.Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).Supervision: Supervise Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors.Required Education And ExperienceEngineering Degree.3+ years in a Quality Engineer role in a Manufacturing environment.Demonstrated competencies utilizing Quality tools and methods.Proven problem-solving skills utilizing DMAIC and/or 6 Sigma methods, 8D and A3.Proficient with MS Office.Proficient with using various measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.Ability to read component and/or product drawings.Excellent communications and interpersonal relations.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical skills.Preferred SkillsCertified Quality Engineer (CQE) or 6 Sigma Greenbelt/BlackbeltExperience with condensing units, compressors, pumps, electric motor testing.Ability to move into a manager position.
