The ideal candidate will have experience in handling various immigration cases, including family-based petitions, employment-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, and naturalization applications. This role requires strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in immigration court and before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR.Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and motions.Conduct legal research and draft legal briefs, motions, and memoranda.Attend interviews and hearings, advocating zealously for clients.Provide legal counsel to clients regarding various immigration matters.Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure case progress.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration law and policies.Effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.Qualifications & Skills:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in New York (or ability to obtain admission).1-3 years of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required).Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Fluency in Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, or another second language is a plus.Passion for immigration law and advocacy for immigrant rights.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity for career growth and professional development.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Exposure to a diverse range of immigration cases and legal issues.If you are a dedicated and motivated attorney looking to make a difference in the field of immigration law, we encourage you to apply!
