Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable law firm in California to find a detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth legal operations.Responsibilities:Providing administrative support to civil litigation attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.Preparing, proofreading, and formatting legal documents and correspondence.Filing and organizing documents in both physical and electronic formats.Coordinating the preparation and filing of court documents, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.Managing communication with clients, court officials, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.Assisting with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.Requirements:Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience as a litigation secretary or in a similar legal support role is preferred.Work Hours:Monday to Friday, first shift.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Additional Details:Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply directly through the job posting for consideration.
