The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations, management, and execution of mechanical HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects across multiple job sites within a designated region. The role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a deep understanding of mechanical construction processes. The successful candidate will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while traveling up to 50% to visit and support ongoing projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations of HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects within the assigned region, ensuring all activities are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, field supervisors, and other operational staff to drive successful project execution.Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices for mechanical construction to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.Collaborate with the project management team to define project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management regarding budget status, schedule, and potential risks.Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, including technical, logistical, and personnel-related issues, ensuring minimal project disruption.Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects and maintain strong professional relationships.Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to assess project progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety standards.Prepare and submit reports on project status, progress, and any operational issues requiring attention or escalation.Assist in business development efforts by identifying opportunities for future projects and fostering relationships with clients.Develop and implement workforce training programs to enhance skills and improve overall team performance.Travel up to 50% to visit project sites, provide on-site leadership, and ensure successful project execution.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical construction management, with a focus on HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.Proven experience in managing and overseeing multiple large-scale construction projects in a regional or multi-site role.Strong background in mechanical construction processes, with a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage remote teams and ensure alignment on project goals.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex operational challenges in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring project profitability and on-time completion.In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices for mechanical HVAC/piping/plumbing construction.Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.LEED certification, PMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites as needed.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Compensation:Competitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonusesComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and moreTravel allowances and expenses coveredHow to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience in mechanical HVAC/piping/plumbing construction management to madilyn@.
