Your responsibilities will include:Client WorkDrafting start-up documents for LLCs, C-corporations, and S-corporations.Managing cap tables and equity plans, including drafting plan documents and processing 83(b) election filings (including a strong understanding as to the differences between stock and option grants).Supporting fundraising transactions: preparing documents, coordinating DocuSign signatures, filing in various jurisdictions, blue sky reviews and creating closing documents.Assisting with acquisitions: drafting documents, managing filings, and organizing closing binders.Handling corporate filings, like new entity filings, charter amendments and annual reports.Researching client inquiries and providing solutions.?Operational SupportAttending team meetings and identifying best practices.Drafting, updating and maintaining forms for use with startup companies.Maintaining and organizing documents and folder systems.and document operational processes for supporting clients.You'll be able to work from home, setting your own hours, and participating in regular video calls for training and team collaboration.Position Details:Title: Corporate ParalegalHours: Part-time, approximately 15-20 billable hours per week (with room to grow).Pay: $50/hour or commensurate with experienceLocation: Fully remote.
