A utility client is looking for a Warehouse Clerk who will perform responsibilities related to ordering, receiving, shipping, handling, storing, and disbursing materials and supplies.LocationDowney, CA 90241 (ONSITE)PositionWarehouse ClerkPay Rate$27/hr. on W2Duration6-12 months or longerShift: M-F, 8 am to 5 pm, typically no weekends or OTPrimary Key Responsibilities:Perform responsibilities related to ordering, receiving, shipping, handling, storing, and disbursing materials and suppliesCoordinate stock levels, document warehouse transactions, and take inventories to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain records, operate office machines, and use personal computers for documentation and reporting purposesOperate warehouse equipment and company vehicles as neededAdhere to company policies and safety regulationsPerform additional related tasks as required, ensuring a smooth and efficient warehouse operationsAdditional Key Responsibilities:Fleet Management:Will assist with Downey fleet and communicate fleet needs to the Fleet Supervisor.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Monitor and manage inventory of fleet-related supplies and facility materials.Communication and Collaboration:Act as a liaison between the fleet and facilities departments.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of fleet and facility activities, including maintenance logs and service records.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols for both fleet and facility operations.Stay informed about regulations and standards related to transportation and facilities managementEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management roleAbility to perform tasks independently without direct supervisionProficiency in using various office machines and personal computersStrong organizational skills and attention to detailHold a Valid driver's licenseWillingness to certify for forklift usageAbility to write legibly and maintain accurate recordsAbout our ClientOur client is a regulated water, wastewater, natural gas, and electric utility company providing local utility management, service, and support to small and mid-sized communities across the United States.About APR:Since 1980 APR Consulting, Inc. has provided professional recruiting and contingent workforce solutions to a diverse mix of clients, industries, and skill sets nationwide.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
