Just 2 levels down from the CEO of the business, this leader will have responsibility for Multiple buildings across the US (temperature controlled facilities, cross-docks, dry distribution centers), along with a team of senior direct reports, and play a key influential role in helping the business meet it's customer service + growth targets. Working daily with the Head of Supply Chain, the role is an intriguing mix of both Strategic + Operational responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, Coach and Lead a team of 5-6 senior direct reportsManage approx. 10 different sites covering North America territoryDirect the Design, Build, Construction and Launch of a New cold storage facility in North CarolinaOversee combined Warehousing & Transportation budget of $10M+Delivery and maintain best in class inventory management practicesLead cold storage Transportation & Logistics, DSD (Direct Store Delivery), National Logistics and Home Delivery EcommerceBuild and develop succession planning initiatives for Long-Term aspirational career growth in Team MembersEnsure regulatory & compliance standards related to Cold Storage and distributionThe successful candidate will ideally haveBachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)15+ years experience in Warehousing and TransportationFood industry experienceProven Project Management experience in DC Design/ConstructionStrong process improvement & cost saving accomplishmentsExperience with managing teams of direct reportsDesired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)15+ years experience in Warehousing and TransportationFood industry experienceProven Project Management experience in DC Design/Construction Strong process improvement & cost saving accomplishmentsExperience with managing teams of direct reports
