Associate Vice President (AVP) of CommunicationsJob Summary: We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Communications Associate with exceptional attention to detail to join our Marketing Communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to manage and execute our communications strategy, enhancing our brand, and fostering strong relationships with media and spokespeople.Key Responsibilities:Media RelationsPlan, pitch and coordinate media interviews for investment bankers and respond to incoming media inquiries Research and secure speaking engagementsContent Creation and EditingDraft press releases, media pitches and internal communications and assist with podcast developmentPR AmplificationCollaborate closely with other team members to promote public appearances, media coverage and reportsAdministration Manage and expand media databaseAssist with media monitoring, tracking and reporting for the teamQualifications:Bachelor's degree required. Preference for Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or related roleOutstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skillsKnowledge of media monitoring tools and databasesExcellent organizational and project management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExperience within a financial firm is preferred
