Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance Inspector ensures that all LAGOS jewelry returned to customers meets the highest quality standards by conducting thorough inspections in compliance with the LAGOS Vendor Manual. This role is responsible for audits, reviews, and fulfillment requests while collaborating closely with Inventory Control and the Receiving Department to maintain efficient workflow practices and uphold product excellence. Essential Functions Review and validate inspection submissions using the QA remote inspection app, approving products for shipment to the RSC.Assist in virtual product quality reviews with suppliers and design teams to support supplier quality development.Assess the quality of finished jewelry items to ensure compliance with company standards.Apply knowledge of 1st quality, 2nd quality, and breaker quality standards to evaluate products accurately.Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in the company database.Utilize computer-based inventory management systems for tracking and reporting purposes.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality standards across departments.This is an in office role reporting to our Philadelphia corporate office Monday - Friday from 8 am - 430 pm. Qualifications1-3 years of Quality Assurance experience required.Experience in the jewelry or luxury goods manufacturing industry required.High School Diploma required; additional certifications in gemology or jewelry design are a plus.Strong knowledge of jewelry inspection, construction, and repair techniques.Familiarity with gemstones, diamonds, silver, and gold is essential.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
