Personal Driver

POSTION: PERSONAL DRIVERESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:Pick up clients at their locations such as offices, hotels, airports, or homes without delay.Operate and handle vehicles within parameters needed to provide a safe experience for passengers, themselves, and the vehicle.Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage.Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions.Provide a personable but discreet atmosphere for all passengers.Perform minor vehicle maintenance and upkeep vehicle appearance.Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable.Opening doors for the passengers as they board the vehicle and ensuring that they are comfortable during the entire journey.SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:A valid driver's license with a clean record is a must.At least 5 years of proven personal driving experience for luxurious or high-profile clients is required.Must maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.Law Enforcement or security background is preferred.Must have extensive knowledge of the NY - TRI-STATE AREA, especially New York City and be able to navigate without relying heavily on GPS.Must be fully vaccinated.A professional demeanor, strong ethical standards, and the ability to maintain confidential information is expected.Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.Excellent time management skills.Refined verbal and written communication skills.Have excellent communication and organization skills.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.Ability to walk, stand, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds.Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Company standards.INTENT AND FUNCTION OF JOB DESCRIPTIONS:All descriptions have been reviewed to ensure that only essential functions and basic duties have been included.
