Client Overview:Our client, a highly respected construction consultancy with a strong track record of successful projects in New York City, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a luxury hotel construction project in the heart of NYC. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and dedicated professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to a high-profile project while advancing their career within a rapidly growing company.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Lead and manage the construction of a luxury hotel from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals are met in terms of budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.Team Leadership: Oversee and collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across all phases of the project.Budget & Schedule Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure all work is completed within the agreed timeline. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and address any potential delays or cost overruns.Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requests to ensure client satisfaction.Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to local regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Conduct site inspections and resolve any quality control issues as they arise.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, including project progress, cost estimates, change orders, and monthly valuations. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation for all aspects of the construction process.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on hotel or commercial projects. Experience in NYC construction projects is highly desirable.Background: Experience in Renovations and Fitout with exposure to design to handover. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
